01Acceptance of Terms & Identity

By accessing, registering an account, or playing BrowserTopia ("the Game"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

⚠️ Clarification of Identity: BrowserTopia is a 2D multiplayer sandbox massively multiplayer online (MMO) browser game. It is not an internet browsing software or application such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.

02Player Accounts & Security

To participate in world building, inventory saving, and multiplayer trading, you must create a verified game account. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or rent your account to any third party.
You agree to notify Game Masters immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
BrowserTopia staff will never ask for your password under any circumstances.

03Fair Play & Anti-Duplication Enforcement

We maintain a strict server-authoritative architecture to preserve a fair, competitive sandbox economy for all players.

Zero Tolerance Violations (Subject to Immediate Permanent Ban):

Item Duplication & Exploit Abuse: Intentionally manipulating network latency, packets, or transactional boundaries to duplicate items or currency.
Unauthorized Automation: Using third-party bots, auto-clickers, macros, or packet injection scripts to automate mining, farming, or combat.
Server Denial of Service: Flooding WebSocket connections, sending malformed frames, or attacking game infrastructure.

04Virtual Currency & In-Game Items

All virtual items—including blocks, tools, seeds, consumable recipes, wings, and gems—are non-exclusive, revocable licenses for use exclusively within BrowserTopia.

Virtual items carry no monetary value outside of the game environment.
Real-Money Trading ("RMT") outside official, authorized game channels is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for account termination.
In the rare event of severe game-breaking glitches or database rollbacks, the management reserves the right to adjust virtual inventories to preserve economic equilibrium.

05User-Generated Content & World Conduct

Players have the freedom to construct worlds, lay pixel art, and create challenges. However, you agree not to create content or communicate via public chat that:

Is defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, abusive, or discriminatory.
Infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property of third parties.
Impersonates BrowserTopia administrators, moderators, or developers.

06Service Availability & Modifications

BrowserTopia is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We continuously balance, update, patch, and enhance gameplay features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, bug-free, or zero-latency server operation during peak deployments or maintenance windows.
